Because this monitor is not VGA compatible, you can't just plug it in to a normal video
card and expect it to work on a PC or Mac. On a PC for example, you could not see DOS boot screens, windows safe mode,
or certain games using a normal video card. With our video cards, this monitor will display a picture at all
resolutions up to the monitors maximum resolution.

You may be able use your current video card to run the AMTRON CD1924-36GD.

With our sync converter and your video card , this monitor will work at certain resolutions and refresh rates.
You must be able to configure your card to output the correct resolution and refresh rate. With your video card configured properly,
the monitor still has the following limitations:
- Boot Screens will not be visible.
- CMOS Screens will not be visible.
- Dos Text Modes will not be visible.
- Games that only run in Dos text mode will not be visible.
- Windows games that require nonsupported resolutions will not be visible.
- Windows Safe Mode will not be visible.
- Windows resolutions other than those supported will not be visible.
The AMTRON CD1924-36GD monitor
will not operate like a normal VGA monitor with your video card.
You must set your video card to output the correct resolution and frequencies.
Even if you can configure your card properly the monitor will only display in windows at certain resolutions,

Sometimes it is neccessary to convert from a MAC style connector to a VGA connector and then get the appropriate cable to go from VGA to your monitor. You may also need a sync converter.
