IMPORTANT NOTES - READ THIS FIRST!

  1. Your Gemini P1 card is normally pre-configured at the factory for your monitor type. In most circumstances, you do not have to change the jumpers or DIP switches. For a list of all the BIOS files loaded on the Gemini P1 card, see below.
  2. If your monitor looks extremely bright, blurry, or you see colors bleeding, make sure the brightness switch on the Gemini P1 card is turned off. If your monitor looks dim, make sure the brightness switch on the Gemini P1 card is turned on.
  3. Check our web site (http://www.si87.com) for the latest in software drivers and utilities.
  4. Some operating systems (e.g. OS/2 and different flavors of UNIX) do not use the video BIOS for setting video modes. These operating systems program the graphics chip directly. We have drivers for these operating systems, so if you have a problem, plea se contact us for the latest information. There will usually be some information regarding these operating systems on our web site (http://www.si87.com).

  1. Your Gemini P1 card has 512K of flash memory which stores the video BIOS information. It is set at the factory with the following information. If you want to change any of the default BIOS’s, see the README.TXT file in the Gemini P1 Utilities directory .
