What are Fixed Frequency Monitors?
Fixed frequency monitors are monitors that were intended to work only at one specific vertical and horizontal refresh
rate (often 60 Hz). Fixed frequency workstation monitors have been manufactured by many different companies
including: HP, Sun, SGI, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, DEC, Sony, Apollo, Taxan, Radius, Rasterops, and many others.
These monitors also typically use a sync on green video signal, so are not directly compatible with today's PC's graphics controllers.
It's frustrating when you can buy a great
HP, or SUN 19" or bigger monitor very cheaply and can't just connect it to your PC. Is there a way I can make this monitor work on my PC?
Software Integrators has provided video cards to handle just this need for over ten years and served thousands of customers. Your solution is our line of fixed frequency graphics cards.

How can you tell if you have a fixed frequency monitor?
The easiest way is to look in our monitor database or call us toll free and we'll check in our database. 1-800-547-2349
The back of your monitor will have written on it somewhere a very narrow frequency range.
If that information isn't present, either contact your manufacturer, or you can try MonitorWorld.com's Monitor List
to find the frequency range.
If your monitor is a fixed frequency monitor, you need a special fixed frequency video card to make it run on your PC. Software Integrators recommends our line of fixed frequency graphics cards. Check them out HERE!!.
